The Online Competition Official Course is required of all new Alpine Officials who have not attended an AO clinic and have not achieved an AO classification in any specialty area. The competition official areas of expertise are Jury Advisor (start and finish referee), Chief of Course, Chief of Race, Timing and Calculations, Race Administrator, Referee and Technical Delegate.

The OL CO course provides a broad introduction to being an Alpine Officials and prepares the people who take it to begin exploring exactly where they fit in and want to participate as an Alpine Official.

The course and test are available on the Alpine 101 home page beginning in early October each year. Anyone planning on attending an AO clinic in IMD must complete it beforehand.

You can also download the course here:

After completing the Online CO Course, return it to to ensure you get credit for it before attending an AO clinic in IMD.
