The Competition Administration sanction agreement requirement has caused quite a stir across all amateur athletics.

Here are some comments from the Sept. 23, 2022 Alpine Officials Education Working Group meeting:

A disciplinary list is being maintained by the SafeSport organization. Race organizers are required to ensure that race workers and officials who must be SafeSport trained are trained and are not on the disciplinary and that race workers who do not fall under the SafeSport requirement are not on the disciplinary list.

One suggestion from Thelma Hoessler to ensure this new requirement is met efficiently is to appoint a SafeSport administrator, much like the COVID administrators race organization now use.

Thelma emphasized that this is not a Jury responsibility. It is a race organizer responsibility to deal with SafeSport issues.
